Silk EPC (Environmental Protection Council) is a grass roots organization that promotes environmentally sound production of silks and silk byproducts. We choose to believe that these fabrics should not be lost because they may not be as “eco-friendly” produced as other materials, but rather celebrated and preserved for the rich history and beautiful art that is created for the whole world to enjoy. Our goal is to foster relations with eco-friendly entities in the main silk producing regions of the world. Working with indigenous people and their governments in fair trade agreements is a win-win for all of us.
